Baillie Puckett lives outside Los Angeles, California and has an MFA in Creative Writing from Hamline University. At Hamline, she worked with advisors and workshopped YA fiction, MG short stories, picture books, and comics. In July 2020, she won the VAUNDA MICHEAUX NELSON SCHOLARSHIP for her promise as a writer of color.
In 2018, she graduated CSUN with a degree in English and a concentration in Creative Writing. During her last semester she was the co-fiction editor and assisted in copyediting the school's literary magazine, The Northridge Review. She watches horror from behind her fingers and writes it with the lights turned out. There may be demons in her closet, but they’d prefer to be referred to as her cats. Baillie spends too much time obsessing over Halsey and Food Network (in that order). Find her on Twitter and Instagram @BailliePuckett! Short Bio: Baillie Puckett (she/her) lives outside Los Angeles.
